Enchanted Isle

Far off, Secret and hidden,
lies a wonderful isle,
And there, tears are forbidden,
For its King is the smile.

Each wish you make is granted
Your joys are always new
The island is enchanted
A place where dreams come true.

From green arbors and bowers
Comes a lovely perfume,
And bright, beautiful flowers
Everlastingly bloom.
By day, the sun is beaming
So kindly and benign
and nights, the stars all gleaming
Happily glow and shine.

The cool, shimmering fountains
Play in silvery streams,
And tall, Towering mountains
Ring my island of dreams
And if you ask, " Where is it?"
That secret i shall keep.
I hurry there to visit
When all the world's asleep.
